The Glen Legler Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship set up in remembrance of Glen by his family. Glen was born and raised in Wyoming. He was active in the Natrona County school district for 36 years. He went from cowboy to community leader and set an example for how he wanted things to work. Glen created a culture that matched his expectations for himself and the people with whom he surrounded himself.

In 5 paragraphs, tell us why you deserve a scholarship in Glen's name. We're less interested in how you got to where you are than we are in where you're going. Dad always hated celebrations in the end-zone, but he loved seeing people stretching towards their goals. Don't tell us about your hardships and how you overcame them; tell us how you'll make the most of what you've overcome. Don't send us a letter of recommendation; write your own.

This year we will be awarding three $1000 scholarships.
